The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini split system is designed to provide customized heating and cooling across four separate rooms. This configuration combines three compact 6,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers with a larger 12,000 BTU unit, making it suitable for spaces with different comfort and capacity requirements.
Powered by DC inverter technology and rated up to 23 SEER2, the system continuously adjusts its output to match demand while maintaining comfortable temperatures throughout the connected zones. Each wall-mounted air handler features quiet operation, directional airflow, a reusable filter, wireless remote control, and Wi-Fi connectivity for convenient everyday control.
The MRCOOL DIY Quick Connect® system uses pre-charged R-454B line sets, simplifying installation without the conventional evacuation and refrigerant-charging process. Through the SmartHVAC app, users can control individual zones, create schedules, monitor energy usage, and connect the system with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. The 36,000 BTU condenser can support up to five indoor units, providing flexibility for future expansion.
