The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini split system provides independent heating and cooling for four rooms with different comfort requirements. This configuration combines two 6,000 BTU air handlers with 9,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU wall-mounted units, making it suitable for spaces ranging from smaller bedrooms to larger living areas.
With a 23 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, and multi-zone operation, the system is designed to adjust performance according to the demand of each connected room. The 6,000 BTU units provide coverage for spaces up to 200 square feet each, the 9,000 BTU unit covers up to 400 square feet, and the 24,000 BTU unit covers up to 1,050 square feet.
The MRCOOL DIY Quick Connect® system uses pre-charged R-454B line sets to simplify installation by eliminating the traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging process. Each air handler includes Wi-Fi connectivity and can be controlled through the SmartHVAC app, with support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The 36,000 BTU condenser is also capable of supporting up to five zones for additional flexibility.
