The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini split system is designed to provide independent heating and cooling for four different rooms. This configuration combines two 6,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers with two 9,000 BTU air handlers, allowing the system to match comfort needs across smaller and medium-sized spaces.
With a 23 SEER2 rating and DC inverter technology, the system continuously adjusts its operation to meet the demand of each zone while maintaining efficient performance. The 6,000 BTU air handlers are rated for spaces up to 200 square feet each, while the 9,000 BTU units can cover areas up to approximately 400 square feet each.
MRCOOL DIY Quick Connect® technology uses pre-charged R-454B line sets to simplify installation without traditional evacuation or refrigerant charging. Wi-Fi connectivity and SmartHVAC app compatibility allow users to control individual zones, schedules, and energy usage, with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility for convenient voice control. The 36,000 BTU condenser can support up to five zones, providing flexibility for future expansion.
