The MRCOOL® DIY® 2-Zone Heat Pump System gives homeowners the flexibility to build a customized ductless HVAC solution around the specific needs of two separate rooms or living areas. Instead of being limited to a fixed indoor-unit combination, you can select the appropriate condenser and wall-mounted air handlers for your space.
Designed for simplified homeowner installation, the system uses factory pre-charged MRCOOL® Quick Connect® line sets that are ready to connect without traditional vacuuming or specialized refrigerant tools. Each indoor zone operates independently, allowing you to set the temperature for each room while one outdoor condenser serves the complete system.
The 5th Generation platform combines inverter-driven performance, R-454B refrigerant, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, and smart-home compatibility with Alexa and Google Home. With year-round heating and cooling, quiet operation, and a DIY-friendly installation design, this configurable two-zone system is well suited for bedrooms, living areas, basements, additions, shops, offices, and other spaces requiring independent temperature control.
