The MRCOOL® DIY® 12,000 BTU 5th Gen Hyper Heat Single Zone Mini Split System delivers efficient year-round heating and cooling for residential spaces up to approximately 550 square feet. With 23.5 SEER2 efficiency, 12,000 BTU cooling and heating capacity, and 208/230V operation, this system provides dependable comfort with advanced inverter technology.
Designed for straightforward DIY installation, the system includes a 25-foot pre-charged DIY® QuickConnect® line set filled with R-454B refrigerant, eliminating the need for vacuuming or refrigerant handling during installation. The system can continue providing heat in outdoor temperatures down to -22°F and is compatible with both wall-mounted air handlers and the DIY® OuttaSight® ceiling cassette.
The 5th Gen Hyper Heat system also provides flexible smart control through the included remote, SmartHVAC app, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. Additional features include Auto-Restart, Sleep mode, programmable Timer, Gold Fin® condenser coating, and DIYPRO® cable protection. With ENERGY STAR and AHRI certification plus a 7-year compressor and 5-year parts warranty with registration, this system is designed for reliable long-term performance.
