The MRCOOL® DIY® 4th Generation 18K ductless mini split system provides efficient year-round heating and cooling for spaces that do not have existing ductwork. With 18,000 BTU of cooling and heating capacity, up to 22.7 SEER2 efficiency, and a 1.5-ton configuration, this system is designed to deliver reliable comfort while helping reduce operating costs.
Designed with DIY installation in mind, the system includes a pre-charged 25-foot Quick Connect® line set, control wire, and remote control, allowing installation without specialized HVAC tools or extensive training. The single-zone system is well suited for garages, workshops, sunrooms, RVs, trailers, and other residential spaces up to approximately 750 square feet when properly sized.
The MRCOOL® DIY 18K features variable-speed DC inverter technology, a corrosion-resistant Gold Fin® condenser, refrigerant leakage detection, and integrated SmartHVAC Wi-Fi compatibility. ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certification, along with a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, provide additional confidence in long-term performance.
