The MRCOOL® DIY® 18K BTU 5th Generation Ceiling Cassette Mini Split Heat Pump System combines efficient year-round heating and cooling with a discreet ceiling-mounted design. With 18,000 BTU capacity and 22.5 SEER2 efficiency, this system is an excellent choice for garages, workshops, sunrooms, RVs, trailers, and other spaces without existing ductwork.
Designed with DIY installation in mind, the system includes a pre-charged 25-foot QuickConnect® line set, allowing installation without the need to vacuum the refrigerant lines. The ceiling cassette provides a clean, low-profile appearance while delivering comfortable airflow throughout the room.
Smart control is built in through the SmartHVAC Wi-Fi module, allowing the system to be operated from Apple and Android devices as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. DC inverter and variable-speed compressor technology help reduce operating costs, while refrigerant leakage detection and the Gold Fin® corrosion-resistant condenser provide additional reliability.
