The MRCOOL® DIY® 18K BTU 5th Generation Ductless Mini Split Condenser delivers efficient heating and cooling for single-zone spaces ranging from approximately 500 to 750 square feet. With 22.5 SEER2 efficiency, 18,000 BTU capacity, and 208/230V operation, it combines dependable climate control with a simplified DIY installation design.
The condenser is designed to work with MRCOOL's QuickConnect® installation system and uses a pre-charged 25-foot line set filled with R-454B refrigerant, eliminating the need for traditional vacuuming. The DIYPRO® cable provides additional protection against weather, animals, and yardwork damage while eliminating the need for conventional electrical conduit.
Convenient control options include the compatible remote, SmartHVAC app for Apple and Android devices, and voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The Gold Fin® condenser coating provides enhanced corrosion resistance, making the unit suitable for coastal environments. Timer, Auto Mode, automatic restart, and anti-mildew functions further enhance everyday comfort and convenience.
