The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 18,000 BTU system provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate indoor spaces with a 12,000 BTU + 12,000 BTU configuration. With a 23.9 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, and an 18,000 BTU outdoor condenser, this ductless heat pump system is designed to deliver reliable year-round comfort with efficient operation.
Designed for convenient DIY® installation, the system uses MRCOOL® Quick Connect® technology with pre-charged R-454B refrigerant line sets. The two 12,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers can each provide heating and cooling for spaces of approximately 550 square feet, making this system suitable for multi-room residential applications.
The system includes smartphone app controls, Follow Me® temperature sensing, Gold Fin® condenser protection, low ambient cooling, quiet operation, and compatibility with modern smart-home controls. The condenser is backed by a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with extended limited lifetime replacement coverage available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
