The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 18,000 BTU system provides efficient year-round heating and cooling for two separate indoor spaces with a 6,000 BTU and 9,000 BTU configuration. With a 23.9 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, and an 18,000 BTU condenser, this system is designed to deliver reliable comfort while maintaining efficient operation.
Designed for convenient DIY installation, the system uses MRCOOL® pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets and the included DIYPRO® cable to simplify installation without traditional electrical conduit. The 6,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler is designed for spaces up to approximately 200 square feet, while the 9,000 BTU air handler can serve spaces up to approximately 400 square feet.
The system features R-454B refrigerant, a Gold Fin® condenser, low ambient cooling, Follow Me® functionality, and smartphone app controls with support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The system includes a 7-year compressor warranty and 5-year parts warranty, with Limited Lifetime Replacement warranty coverage available through enrollment in the MRCOOL® Care Program.
