The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU ductless mini-split system provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate areas with a 12,000 BTU air handler in each zone. With a 23 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, and a 26,000 BTU rated cooling and heating capacity, this system is designed to deliver dependable year-round comfort with efficient operation.
The system combines a 27,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with two wall-mounted 12,000 BTU air handlers, each capable of conditioning approximately 550 square feet. MRCOOL® DIY® technology uses pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets to simplify installation, while the sealed system uses R-454B refrigerant for a more environmentally conscious solution.
Smart HVAC controls provide convenient operation through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® and mobile app, with compatibility with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Additional features include Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, quiet mode, automatic cooling, reusable filters, Gold Fin® condenser protection, and flexible multi-zone comfort. The system includes a 5-year parts warranty, 7-year compressor warranty, and extended limited lifetime replacement coverage when enrolled in the MRCOOL® Care Program.
