The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU ductless mini-split system combines a 12,000 BTU and an 18,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler to provide independent comfort across two separate living spaces. With a 23 SEER2 rating and DC inverter technology, the system is designed to deliver efficient heating and cooling throughout the year.
The multi-zone system features a 27,000 BTU condenser capable of supporting multiple indoor units, while this configuration pairs it with 12,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU air handlers covering approximately 550 and 800 square feet respectively. MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® technology uses pre-charged line sets with R-454B refrigerant, simplifying installation without requiring special HVAC tools or training.
Smart HVAC controls allow convenient operation through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® and smartphone app, with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa compatibility. Features such as Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, quiet mode, automatic cooling, reusable filters, Gold Fin® condenser protection, and a sealed R-454B system provide dependable performance and flexible comfort. The system includes a 5-year parts warranty, 7-year compressor warranty, and extended limited lifetime replacement coverage when enrolled in the MRCOOL® Care Program.
