The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU ductless mini-split system combines 12,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers to provide independent heating and cooling across two separate living spaces. With a 23 SEER2 rating and DC inverter technology, this system delivers efficient year-round comfort while allowing each zone to be controlled independently.
The 27,000 BTU multi-zone condenser supports multiple indoor configurations and is paired here with a 12,000 BTU air handler designed for spaces up to approximately 550 square feet and a 24,000 BTU air handler designed for spaces up to approximately 1,050 square feet. MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® technology uses pre-charged R-454B line sets, helping simplify installation without requiring specialized HVAC tools or training.
Smart controls provide convenient operation through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® and smartphone app, with compatibility with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Additional features include Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, quiet mode, automatic cooling, reusable filters, Gold Fin® condenser protection, and a fully sealed R-454B system. The system includes a 5-year parts warranty, 7-year compressor warranty, and extended limited lifetime replacement coverage when enrolled in the MRCOOL® Care Program.
