The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU ductless mini-split system delivers efficient heating and cooling across two independently controlled zones with a 9,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler configuration. With a 23 SEER2 rating and DC inverter technology, the system is designed for reliable year-round comfort and efficient operation.
This dual-zone system pairs a 27,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with wall-mounted air handlers sized for approximately 400 and 1,050 square feet. MRCOOL® DIY® technology uses pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets to simplify installation without specialized HVAC tools or extensive training, while the sealed refrigerant system uses environmentally conscious R-454B refrigerant.
Smart HVAC controls allow convenient operation through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® and smartphone app, with support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Additional features include Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, quiet operation, Gold Fin® condenser protection, reusable filters, and flexible airflow control. The system includes a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with extended limited lifetime replacement coverage available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
