The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU ductless mini-split system is designed to provide efficient heating and cooling across two separate zones. With two 9,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers and a 23 SEER2 rating, this system delivers balanced comfort and energy-efficient performance for spaces requiring independent temperature control.
Powered by an energy-efficient DC inverter and a 27,000 BTU multi-zone condenser, the system can condition two areas of up to approximately 400 square feet each. MRCOOL® DIY® technology uses pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets and a sealed refrigerant system to simplify installation while eliminating the need for specialized HVAC tools or training.
The system includes smart control capabilities through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® and smartphone app, with compatibility for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Additional features include Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, quiet operation, Gold Fin® condenser protection, reusable filters, and R-454B refrigerant. The system includes a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with optional extended limited lifetime replacement coverage through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
