The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini-split system provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate living areas with a 12,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU indoor unit configuration. With up to 23 SEER2 efficiency and DC inverter technology, the system is designed to deliver reliable comfort while adapting its output to changing indoor conditions.
This two-zone system combines a 36,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with wall-mounted air handlers designed to provide approximately 550 square feet of coverage from the 12K unit and 800 square feet from the 18K unit. MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® technology uses pre-charged line sets, simplifying installation by eliminating the traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging process when the compatible line sets are used.
The system uses environmentally conscious R-454B refrigerant and includes smart control capabilities through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® App, with compatibility for both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Features such as Follow Me®, Low Ambient Cooling, Quiet Mode, Auto Cool, reusable filters, Gold Fin® condenser protection, and lifetime technical support provide convenient operation and dependable year-round comfort. The system is ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certified and includes a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with an Extended Limited Lifetime warranty available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
