The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini-split system provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate zones with a 12,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU indoor unit configuration. With up to 23 SEER2 efficiency and advanced DC inverter technology, this system is designed to provide dependable year-round comfort while adjusting operation to meet changing temperature demands.
This multi-zone system pairs a 36,000 BTU condenser with two wall-mounted air handlers, including a 12,000 BTU unit designed to cover up to 550 square feet and a 24,000 BTU unit designed to cover up to 1,050 square feet. MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® technology uses compatible pre-charged line sets to simplify installation by eliminating the traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging process.
The system uses R-454B refrigerant and features a 100% sealed system, Gold Fin® condenser protection, Follow Me®, Low Ambient Cooling, Quiet Mode, Auto Cool, reusable filters, and smartphone app controls. The MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® works with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing convenient control of individual zones. The system is ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certified and includes a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with an Extended Limited Lifetime warranty available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
