The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini-split system is designed to provide efficient heating and cooling for two separate living spaces. Featuring an 18,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler combination with up to 23 SEER2 efficiency, this system delivers flexible zone control and dependable year-round comfort.
The system pairs a 36,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with two indoor air handlers capable of covering approximately 800 and 1,050 square feet respectively. MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® technology uses compatible pre-charged line sets to simplify installation by eliminating the traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging process, making it a convenient solution for DIY installations.
Powered by DC inverter technology and using R-454B refrigerant, the system features a 100% sealed design, Gold Fin® condenser protection, Follow Me®, Low Ambient Cooling, Quiet Mode, Auto Cool, reusable filters, and smartphone app controls. Wi-Fi connectivity also supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa integration. The system is ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certified and includes a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with an Extended Limited Lifetime warranty available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
