The MRCOOLĀ® DIYĀ® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini-split system provides efficient year-round heating and cooling for two separate living spaces. This 23 SEER2 system combines a high-capacity multi-zone condenser with 9,000 BTU and 12,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers, providing flexible comfort control for different room sizes while inverter technology continuously adjusts system output for efficient operation.
Designed around MRCOOLĀ® DIYĀ® technology, the system simplifies installation with Quick ConnectĀ® pre-charged line sets and an included DIYPROĀ® cable, reducing the need for traditional HVAC installation equipment. The 9,000 BTU air handler is suited for spaces up to approximately 400 square feet, while the 12,000 BTU unit can provide comfort for areas up to approximately 800 square feet.
The system includes convenient smart-home functionality through Wi-Fi and the MRCOOLĀ® Smart HVAC ControllerĀ® App, with support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Additional features include Follow MeĀ®, Fan Only, Quiet Mode, Auto Cool, reusable filters, and a Gold FinĀ® condenser coating. The 36,000 BTU condenser delivers up to 34,000 BTU of cooling and 36,000 BTU of heating capacity, with R-454B refrigerant, ENERGY STARĀ® and AHRI certification, a 5-year parts warranty, and a 7-year compressor warranty.
