The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini-split system delivers efficient year-round heating and cooling for two separate spaces with a 9,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler configuration. With up to 23 SEER2 efficiency and DC inverter technology, the system is designed to provide reliable comfort while adjusting output to match changing indoor conditions.
The system pairs a 36,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with one 9,000 BTU air handler for spaces up to approximately 400 square feet and one 18,000 BTU air handler for larger areas. MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® line sets use pre-charged R-454B refrigerant and are designed to simplify installation by eliminating the traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging process.
Smart controls provide convenient temperature management through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® and app, with compatibility for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Additional features include Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, quiet mode, Auto Cool, Fan Only, reusable filters, Gold Fin® condenser protection, and a sealed refrigerant system. The condenser is rated at 34,000 BTU cooling and 36,000 BTU heating capacity, with a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, plus an extended limited lifetime warranty when registered through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
