The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini-split system provides efficient year-round heating and cooling for two separate spaces. With a 23 SEER2 efficiency rating and a 9,000 BTU plus 18,000 BTU indoor unit configuration, this system delivers flexible multi-room comfort while allowing each zone to be controlled independently.
The system combines a 36,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with a 9,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler designed for spaces up to approximately 400 square feet and an 18,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler designed for areas up to approximately 800 square feet. MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® pre-charged line sets simplify installation by eliminating the traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging process.
Built with DC inverter technology and R-454B refrigerant, the system offers efficient operation together with convenient smart-home controls. The MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® App supports Wi-Fi control, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa, while features such as Follow Me®, Low Ambient Cooling, Quiet Mode, Auto Cool, reusable filters, and Gold Fin® condenser protection provide added comfort and convenience. The system is ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certified and includes a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with an Extended Limited Lifetime warranty available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
