The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 36,000 BTU ductless mini-split system provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate areas with a 9,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU indoor unit configuration. With up to 23 SEER2 efficiency and DC inverter technology, the system is designed to provide dependable multi-room comfort while adapting its output to changing indoor conditions.
Designed around MRCOOL®'s DIY® installation platform, the system uses pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets to simplify installation without the traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging process. The 9,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler is suited for spaces up to approximately 400 square feet, while the 24,000 BTU unit can serve areas up to approximately 1,050 square feet.
The system uses environmentally conscious R-454B refrigerant and includes convenient smart-home features through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® App, with support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Additional features include Follow Me®, Low Ambient Cooling, Quiet Mode, Auto Cool, reusable filters, Gold Fin® condenser protection, and lifetime technical support. The system is ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certified and includes a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with an Extended Limited Lifetime warranty available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
