The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 48,000 BTU Ductless Mini-Split System provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate spaces with an 18,000 BTU and 36,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler combination. Designed for homeowners who want flexible multi-room comfort, this system combines powerful inverter technology with an easy DIY installation design.
With a 48,000 BTU multi-zone condenser, the system can independently condition two rooms while allowing each indoor unit to provide directional airflow and individual temperature control. The pre-charged Quick Connect® line set system simplifies installation by eliminating the need for traditional evacuation and refrigerant charging procedures when the compatible line sets are used.
The system uses R-454B refrigerant, DC inverter technology, Gold Fin® condenser protection, and smart controls through the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC app. The included 18K and 36K wall-mounted air handlers provide coverage for medium to large spaces, while features such as Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, quiet operation, and automatic filter-cleaning alerts provide convenient year-round comfort.
