The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 48,000 BTU Ductless Mini-Split System delivers efficient heating and cooling for two separate spaces with two 24,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers. With 21.8 SEER2 efficiency, DC inverter technology, and a 4-ton configuration, this system provides powerful and flexible comfort for larger residential areas.
Designed for convenient DIY installation, the system uses MRCOOL® pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets to simplify setup without the traditional evacuation and refrigerant-charging process when compatible components are used. Each 24,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler provides independent temperature control, directional airflow, and coverage of up to approximately 1,050 square feet.
The 5th Generation Multi-Zone system uses environmentally friendly R-454B refrigerant and features a Gold Fin® condenser, Follow Me® technology, low ambient cooling, quiet operation, and Smart HVAC app compatibility. With ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certification, a 5-year parts warranty, 7-year compressor warranty, and available extended limited lifetime coverage through the MRCOOL® Care Program, this system is designed for dependable year-round comfort.
