The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 48,000 BTU ductless mini-split system provides efficient year-round heating and cooling for two separate indoor spaces with a 9,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU air handler configuration. With 21.8 SEER2 efficiency, DC inverter technology, and a heat pump design, this system delivers reliable comfort while allowing each zone to maintain its own temperature.
Designed for convenient DIY installation, the system uses MRCOOL® DIY® Quick Connect® pre-charged line sets to simplify installation without the traditional evacuation and refrigerant-charging process. The 9,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler is designed for spaces up to 400 square feet, while the 18,000 BTU air handler can provide heating and cooling for areas up to 800 square feet.
The system features R-454B refrigerant, an energy-efficient DC inverter compressor, Gold Fin® condenser protection, Follow Me® functionality, low ambient cooling, quiet operation, and smartphone app controls. Wi-Fi compatibility with iOS and Android devices, along with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration, provides convenient control from virtually anywhere. ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certifications, a 5-year parts warranty, and a 7-year compressor warranty provide additional confidence for long-term use.
