The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone 55,000 BTU 2-Zone Ductless Mini-Split System provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate indoor spaces with a 12,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler configuration. With up to 22 SEER2 efficiency, DC inverter technology, and a high-capacity outdoor condenser, this system is designed to deliver dependable year-round comfort with efficient performance.
Designed for convenient DIY installation, the system features MRCOOL® DIYPro® technology and pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets that simplify installation while eliminating the need for traditional vacuuming and refrigerant charging procedures. Each indoor unit can provide independent comfort control, while Wi-Fi connectivity and the Smart HVAC App allow users to manage settings, schedules, and operating modes from a smartphone.
The system uses R-454B refrigerant and includes features such as Follow Me®, Low Ambient Cooling, Quiet Mode, Auto Cool, reusable filters, and DC inverter technology. With ENERGY STAR® and AHRI certification, a 5-year parts warranty, a 7-year compressor warranty, and an Extended Limited Lifetime Replacement warranty when registered through the MRCOOL® Care Program, this system is designed for reliable long-term residential comfort.
