The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 55,000 BTU Ductless Mini-Split System delivers powerful heating and cooling for two separate spaces with a 9,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler combination. With 22 SEER2 efficiency and a DC inverter-driven condenser, the system is designed to provide reliable year-round comfort while adapting output to changing indoor conditions.
Designed around MRCOOL® DIY® technology, this multi-zone system uses pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets to simplify installation without requiring specialized HVAC tools or training. The two indoor air handlers provide independent comfort control for rooms of different sizes, while features such as Follow Me®, smartphone app control, low ambient cooling, and quiet operation add convenience to everyday use.
The 55,000 BTU condenser uses R-454B refrigerant and can support multiple indoor-unit configurations, providing flexibility for future system planning. The system combines energy-efficient inverter technology, Gold Fin® protection, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 5-year parts warranty with a 7-year compressor warranty, with extended limited lifetime coverage available through the MRCOOL® Care Program.
