The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 55,000 BTU Ductless Mini-Split System provides efficient heating and cooling for two separate spaces with a 9,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler combination. With up to 22 SEER2 efficiency and a DC inverter-driven condenser, this system delivers flexible, year-round comfort while allowing each zone to be controlled independently.
Designed for convenient DIY installation, the system uses MRCOOL® Quick Connect® pre-charged line sets to simplify setup without requiring specialized HVAC tools or training. The 9K and 24K indoor units provide directional airflow, quiet operation, washable filters, and convenient temperature control through the included remotes, while Wi-Fi and smartphone app compatibility make it easy to manage comfort from anywhere.
The 55,000 BTU condenser uses R-454B refrigerant and DC inverter technology for efficient operation across changing comfort demands. Additional features include Gold Fin® condenser protection, Follow Me®, low ambient cooling, auto cooling, and compatibility with smart-home controls. The system is backed by a 5-year parts warranty, 7-year compressor warranty, and an extended limited lifetime replacement warranty when enrolled in the MRCOOL® Care Program.
