The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 18,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split is designed to provide independent heating and cooling across three separate rooms. With three 6,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers, this system delivers targeted comfort while maintaining efficient multi-zone operation.
Each 6,000 BTU air handler can condition approximately 200 square feet, making this configuration well suited for bedrooms, offices, smaller living areas, additions, or other compact spaces. The 18,000 BTU outdoor condenser supplies all three indoor units through a single multi-zone system.
With a 23.9 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, R-454B refrigerant, smartphone app controls, and MRCOOL's pre-charged Quick Connect® line set technology, the system combines energy-efficient performance with a simplified DIY installation approach.
