The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split is designed to provide independent heating and cooling across three separate rooms with one 6,000 BTU and two 12,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers. This configuration combines different room capacities with a single outdoor multi-zone condenser for flexible whole-home comfort.
The 6,000 BTU air handler is designed for spaces up to approximately 200 square feet, while each 12,000 BTU air handler can condition up to approximately 550 square feet. This combination is well suited for bedrooms, offices, living spaces, additions, and other areas with different heating and cooling requirements.
With a 23 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, R-454B refrigerant, smartphone app controls, Follow Me® functionality, and pre-charged Quick Connect® line set technology, the system delivers efficient multi-zone performance while simplifying the DIY installation process.
