The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split is built to deliver independent heating and cooling across three rooms with a combination of two 6,000 BTU and one 9,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers. This configuration provides targeted comfort while allowing multiple spaces to operate from a single outdoor condenser.
The two 6,000 BTU air handlers are designed for spaces of approximately 200 square feet each, while the 9,000 BTU unit can condition approximately 400 square feet. This makes the system a practical choice for bedrooms, offices, smaller living spaces, additions, and other areas requiring individually controlled comfort.
With a 23 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, R-454B refrigerant, smartphone app controls, Follow Me® functionality, and pre-charged Quick Connect® line set technology, this system combines efficient performance with a simplified DIY installation approach.
