The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split is designed to provide independent heating and cooling across three separate rooms with two 9,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers and one 18,000 BTU air handler. This configuration combines smaller zones with a larger living area while allowing each indoor unit to operate independently from a single outdoor condenser.
Each 9,000 BTU air handler is rated for spaces up to approximately 400 square feet, while the 18,000 BTU air handler can condition up to approximately 800 square feet. This flexible combination is well suited for bedrooms, offices, living areas, additions, and other spaces that require different levels of heating and cooling capacity.
With a 23 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, R-454B refrigerant, smartphone app controls, Follow Me® functionality, low ambient cooling, and pre-charged Quick Connect® line set technology, this system delivers efficient multi-zone comfort with a simplified DIY installation approach.
