The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 48,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split is designed to provide independent heating and cooling across three separate rooms. This configuration combines two 6,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers with one 18,000 BTU air handler, all powered by a single 48,000 BTU outdoor condenser.
Each 6,000 BTU air handler can condition approximately 200 square feet, while the 18,000 BTU air handler can cover up to approximately 800 square feet. This combination provides flexible zoning for bedrooms, offices, smaller living spaces, and larger rooms while allowing each zone to be controlled independently.
With a 21.8 SEER2 rating, DC inverter technology, R-454B refrigerant, smartphone app controls, Follow Me® functionality, and MRCOOL's Quick Connect® installation technology, this system combines efficient year-round comfort with a simplified DIY installation approach.
