The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 48,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split is built to provide independent heating and cooling across three separate rooms. This configuration pairs three 9,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers with a single 48,000 BTU outdoor condenser, creating a balanced multi-room comfort solution.
Each 9,000 BTU air handler is designed for spaces up to approximately 400 square feet, making this configuration well suited for bedrooms, offices, living areas, and other similarly sized rooms. The three-zone design allows each space to receive dedicated temperature control.
With 21.8 SEER2 efficiency, DC inverter technology, R-454B refrigerant, smartphone app controls, Follow Me® functionality, and pre-charged Quick Connect® technology, this system delivers efficient year-round comfort while simplifying installation.
