The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 55,000 BTU ductless mini split system combines three independently controlled zones with two 12,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers and one 24,000 BTU air handler. This configuration provides flexible comfort control for spaces with different heating and cooling requirements.
Powered by a 55,000 BTU outdoor condenser with a 22 SEER2 efficiency rating, the system uses DC inverter technology to adjust operation according to demand. Its heat pump design provides both cooling and heating, while the multi-zone configuration allows each connected indoor unit to operate according to the needs of its individual space.
Installation is simplified with MRCOOL's pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets, which are designed to make DIY installation easier without traditional refrigerant evacuation and charging procedures. The system also supports Wi-Fi and smartphone controls, Follow Me® functionality, and voice control compatibility through supported smart-home platforms.
