The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 55,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split provides efficient heating and cooling for three separate zones with a flexible 9,000 + 9,000 + 36,000 BTU configuration. Two compact wall-mounted air handlers are designed for smaller rooms, while the larger 36,000 BTU unit provides powerful comfort for a significantly larger space.
With independent zone control, each indoor unit can deliver customized comfort where it is needed. The two 9,000 BTU air handlers are rated for spaces up to approximately 400 square feet each, while the 36,000 BTU air handler is designed to cover up to approximately 1,550 square feet.
Powered by DC inverter technology and rated up to 22 SEER2, this system combines energy-efficient performance with modern smart-home convenience. The pre-charged Quick Connect® system simplifies installation, while R-454B refrigerant, Wi-Fi connectivity, smartphone controls, and Follow Me® functionality make everyday operation simple and convenient.
