The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 27,000 BTU ductless mini split system is designed to provide efficient heating and cooling across four independently controlled zones. This configuration combines one 6,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler with three 9,000 BTU air handlers, allowing different rooms to receive customized comfort from a single outdoor condenser.
Powered by a 23 SEER2 DC inverter condenser, the system adjusts operation according to heating and cooling demand for efficient year-round performance. Each wall-mounted air handler provides individual temperature control, reusable filtration, quiet operation, and convenient remote control functionality.
The MRCOOL DIY system uses pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets with R-454B refrigerant to simplify installation. Smart controls provide convenient operation through the MRCOOL Smart HVAC Controller app, with compatibility for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The four-zone configuration is designed for flexible multi-room residential comfort and supports up to four indoor air handlers.
