The MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Gen Multi-Zone 55,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split is designed to provide efficient heating and cooling across three independently controlled zones. This configuration pairs a powerful 55,000 BTU outdoor condenser with 6,000 BTU, 9,000 BTU, and 36,000 BTU wall-mounted air handlers for flexible comfort in different areas of the home.
The 6,000 BTU air handler is designed for spaces up to approximately 200 square feet, while the 9,000 BTU unit can accommodate up to approximately 400 square feet. The larger 36,000 BTU air handler provides coverage for spaces up to approximately 1,550 square feet, making this configuration suitable for combining smaller rooms with a large living area or open space.
With 22 SEER2 efficiency, DC inverter technology, R-454B refrigerant, smartphone app controls, Follow Me® functionality, and pre-charged Quick Connect® technology, this system delivers convenient year-round climate control with a streamlined DIY installation design.
