The MRCOOL® DIY® Select 12K Single Zone Mini Split System provides efficient heating and cooling for smaller residential and light commercial spaces. With a 12,000 BTU capacity, 17.5 SEER2 efficiency, and a 1-ton configuration, this system is designed for spaces of approximately 400–600 square feet while delivering dependable year-round comfort.
Built around MRCOOL®'s DIY® installation concept, the system combines a wall-mounted air handler with a pre-charged outdoor condenser and an 11.5-foot quick-connect line set. The compact line set is especially well suited for back-to-back installations, while the system's R-454B refrigerant and inverter technology provide modern performance with convenient homeowner-oriented installation.
The DIY® Select system also features built-in Wi-Fi compatibility, smart control through the MRCOOL SmartHVAC app, and compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. With a washable filter, multiple fan and comfort modes, AHRI certification, and separate parts and compressor warranties, this system offers a practical combination of affordability, convenience, and reliable performance.
