MRCOOL Electric Heat Kit for MrCool Universal Air Handler - R410A

The MRCOOL® Universal Series Electric Heat Kit provides reliable supplemental heating for compatible Universal Series air handlers. Available in 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 kW configurations, these heat strips are designed to provide additional warmth when the heat pump requires supplemental or emergency heating support.

Each heat kit is designed specifically for MRCOOL® Universal Series air handlers and includes an integrated circuit breaker for added electrical protection. The available heating capacities allow the system to be matched to different air handler sizes, helping provide the appropriate level of supplemental heat for a variety of residential applications.

The Universal Series heat kits use 208–230V electrical power and are available in multiple configurations to accommodate 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-ton compatible air handlers. Proper heat kit selection is important, as MRCOOL® specifies compatible kits based on the air handler size to ensure safe and reliable operation.
