What you should know

The 4th Gen platform runs on R-410A refrigerant, so its parts and line sets do not mix with the newer 5th Gen (R-454B) equipment. Buy within the same generation if you ever add zones or replace a component. R-410A production is being phased down for new equipment, but that does not affect your ability to run or service an existing system, and MRCOOL keeps supporting the platform.

This unit requires a dedicated 208-230V circuit, not a standard 115V outlet, with a breaker no larger than 30A and 18A minimum circuit ampacity.
