What you should know

You are looking at the indoor unit by itself; no condenser and no line set come with it. It suits a head replacement on a working DIY 5th Gen 24K system or a deliberate component build. For a first-time install, a complete system bundle usually makes more sense.

Stick within the generation. 5th Gen equipment uses R-454B and is not cross-compatible with 3rd or 4th Gen condensers or line sets, so every part in the loop has to be 5th Gen. The refrigerant connections here are 3/8 in liquid and 5/8 in suction.
