What you should know
This listing covers the outdoor condenser only. You will also need the matching DIY 5th Gen 9K air handler and a 5th Gen Quick Connect line set, so it is best suited to replacing a failed outdoor unit on an existing 9K system or completing a component build.
Give it a dedicated 115V circuit with a breaker no larger than 20 amps and 18A minimum circuit ampacity. It should not share a circuit with general outlets even though it uses household voltage. At 83 pounds it is manageable, though a helper never hurts.
Stay within the 5th Gen generation: the R-454B charge and Quick Connect fittings are incompatible with 3rd and 4th Gen parts. The line connections are 1/4 in liquid and 3/8 in suction.
