This is a 208/230V unit, not plug-in power. It needs a dedicated circuit with a breaker no larger than 20 amps, so if that circuit does not exist yet, have an electrician run one before install day. The rest of the job is standard DIY territory.

One naming note: the 18K figure refers to heating capacity, and rated cooling is 17,000 BTU. As with the rest of the Easy Pro line, the base warranty is 3 years on parts and 5 years on the compressor, which is shorter than MRCOOL's 5th Gen series. That trade-off is a big part of the lower price.
